Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 23, 2026
ReplyBell respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how ReplyBell handles data when you use alarms, connect a Google account, access Gmail features, and request AI-assisted email replies.
1. Overview
ReplyBell is an Android app by AppForge House. Alarm features can be used without creating an account. Gmail features are optional and require the user to connect a Google account and grant the requested Gmail permissions.
ReplyBell is designed to work without an app-owned backend server. Alarm data is stored locally on the user's device. Gmail data is accessed only to provide user-requested email features.
2. Information We Collect
ReplyBell may process the following information after the user grants permission, connects an account, or enters data in the app:
- Google account information selected during sign-in, such as email address and profile information provided by Google sign-in.
- Gmail message data needed to show email lists and email details, including sender, recipient, subject, date, labels, read status, snippets, body content, and attachment metadata.
- Email draft and sending data entered by the user, including recipients, subject, body, cc recipients, and attachments if supported by the app flow.
- Alarm data created in the app, including time, selected dates, repeat settings, title, sound setting, vibration setting, and snooze state.
- AI reply request data, including the selected email content and prompt context needed to generate a suggested reply.
3. How We Use Information
Information is used only to provide and operate ReplyBell features requested by the user:
- Provide alarm, notification, sound, vibration, and snooze functionality.
- Enable optional Gmail access after the user connects a Google account.
- Display Gmail messages and message details to the connected user.
- Mark messages as read or update supported message states requested by the user.
- Send emails or replies when the user taps the send action.
- Generate AI-assisted reply suggestions when the user explicitly requests AI reply generation.
- Improve app stability, reliability, and user experience.
ReplyBell does not sell personal data or share personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.
4. Gmail API Data Usage
ReplyBell uses Gmail API access only to provide user-requested email features inside the app. Gmail access may be used to:
- Display Gmail messages and message details to the connected user.
- Mark messages as read or update supported message states requested by the user.
- Send emails or replies when the user taps the send action.
- Generate AI-assisted reply suggestions when the user explicitly requests AI reply generation.
ReplyBell does not sell Gmail data, use Gmail data for advertising, or allow humans to read Gmail data unless required to comply with law, security, or a support request initiated by the user.
ReplyBell's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. AI Reply Generation
When the user requests an AI-assisted reply, ReplyBell may send the selected email content and related prompt context to Google Gemini through the Gemini API. This data is used to generate a reply suggestion for the user. Users can review and edit generated text before sending it.
6. Permissions Usage
ReplyBell requests permissions only for the purposes described below:
- Notification permission is used to deliver alarm and app notifications.
- Exact alarm access is used to trigger alarms at the time selected by the user.
- Vibration access is used only when the user enables vibration for alarms.
- Internet access is used for Google sign-in, Gmail API requests, and Gemini API requests.
All permissions are used strictly for their stated purposes.
7. Data Storage and Security
Alarm data is stored locally on the user's device. ReplyBell does not upload alarm data to an app-owned external server.
Email data is requested from Gmail for app functionality and may be cached locally on the user's device as needed for the user experience. Authentication tokens are handled by the app and platform services as required for authorized API access.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect information processed within the app. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Data Sharing
ReplyBell may share limited data with service providers only when necessary to provide app functionality:
- Google Gmail API, for Gmail account access and email actions authorized by the user.
- Google Gemini API, for AI reply generation requested by the user.
- Android platform services, for notifications, alarms, sound, vibration, and account sign-in flows.
